Anyone have a headliner in their top?
That's what I'm planning at this point. Nothing crazy, just maybe some thin foam with some conservative type of fabric for some sound deadening.
Any one else done this or considered it? If so, Any tips? Posted via Mobile Device |

Mine has one. Never had a Blazer before so wasn't sure if it came this way or someone did it themselves. Haven't had the top on it since I bought it 2 years ago so never looked very close at it but basically like you mentioned. Foam and vinyl.

Mine doesn't have a headliner but, mine was the bottom of the line model. I don't know if they came with them or not.

Re: Anyone have a headliner in their top?
There were only two factory tops - the double wall and the single wall. The double wall came first, and the single wall later. The easiest way to distinguish them is that the single wall has two dome lights on the driver's side. The most important difference is that the single wall bolts from the top down, while the bolts on the double wall come up through the bed rails.
Neither one came with a factory headliner. |

I'm interested in this as well for sound deadening purposes. 2 Flowmaster 10s + no carpet + no sound deadener + no headliner = ruptured eardrums
Sounds awesome from outside though haha |

Mine is a single wall, not sure how they mounted the headliner. Moving at the moment and will be bringing the top home this weekend. i'll take a look and maybe snap a few pics.
I hear ya JC! I'm running headers, 3" duals,Flowmaster 40's with turndowns. Comes out just ahead of the axles with no carpet or deadener of any kind. Sure sounds good though |

Tom
This is what mine is like. 1/4" masonite foam and fabric, small screws in with covers. side panels are made of the same materials. |
