1969 GMC Truck 1500 custom long bed / 292
I am in Dallas / Fort Worth. I need a front left fender and a couple of front wheel wells. Actually I need a lot of stuff. Don't have a lot of money.
Where do I shop? First timer here and to restore a truck. Matthew |

Craigslist, salvage yards, vendors here,
CL can be a goldmine if you're patient. I scored a complete new '67 I6 250 this weekend for $250. Complete new top end on it had zero miles. It's super clean. Guy had rebuilt it for a customer who then decided he wanted a SBC, stuck it in the corner of the garage for the last three years, got sick a year ago and wanted to start getting rid of extraneous 'junk.' Also scored two new stepside fenders in a 8.5 of 10 shape for $50. One ding, surface rust, awesome flanges. |
