Cab question

I am going to be moving a bare cab and need to know if it will fit in a trailer that is 57" wide. Don't want to get there and find out it will not fit.

Sorry for the silly question but gas and time are $ for me if I can't pick it up.

Trailer also has 12" high sides.

Thanks

Re: Cab question

It will be riding against the back wall of the cab and riding on the vertical cab/firewall support just shy of sitting level on the floor. Just might squeeze in there but propping the cab up on a 2x4 should set it just right. Here are some pics from my investigation, my finger is touching where I estimate it will hit on the top rail of the trailer at the firewall.

Re: Cab question

Could you take some 4x4's, put them across the trailer, resting on the rails, and put the cab up on the 4x4s?

Re: Cab question

I hauled my old cab, firewall down, in a trailer that is 54-inches wide.
