Tranny swap possible
Hi all.
My 68, currently has the stock 3 speed manual tranny in it, looking for help and or suggestions on what other vehicle I can get a 4 speed manual tranny out of that won't be to much work to swap to. This is not a work truck. Getting abit tired of the 3speed and also thinking of putting some more horses under the hood,Thanks again. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Tranny swap possible
60's and up to mid 70's 4 speeds from a camaro,, chevelle,, etc.
You can run a T-10, a saginaw or a muncie 4 speed. If you have a lead foot and are planning on more horses, Id stick with the muncie rather than the saginaw. (saginaw is a good trans.--but it wasnt designed for mega torque and HP.) An M 20 muncie (wide ratio will prob. be a good choice--and was the most common and easiest to find)
