Looking at a 70 c10 need advise...

Ok I don't have a pic so yeah yeah I know but I found a original owner 70 c10 custom its gold with white top ac cab four wheel covers all its trim and has awesome patina only rust is rockers and the right cab corner has a pretty good dent. 350/350 runs and drives excellent other than above listed rust and damage it's strait as a string and has 114k on it. All and all it's just plain ol nice and well taken care of I was thinking of picking it up and playing with it while I finish up my frame off. What you guys think this ol girl would be worth?

It's hard to tell without pictures but out here in the rust belt I could see someone asking between 3500 to 5000. Condition is everything when it comes to price. A very straight rust free low option truck is going to be more desirable then a rusted out truck with AC. Post up some pictures, lets see this thing

Any rust, as in perforation above the windshield? From the pic it looks pretty nice. What is going on with the rear trailing arm though, something may look off there?

Gotta keep the "custom" exhaust on it though haha

All things considered, probably worth about 3500 at least. I know others have come across some bargains but that would at least be fair in reality.

Re: Looking at a 70 c10 need advise...

the weirdness by the trailing arm looks like a busted tailpipe - i.e. broken behind the muffler and the rest is hanging down from the rear, resting on the axle(?) Who knowss...

I like it, good lookin truck. I'd gess it's worth $3000-$4500. Am guessing it's not drivable with the pole-vault exhaust hanging down. Does it run? If not, $2K.

It runs great I drove it and everything works except the ac. And yes that is the tail pipe lol it needs a lil work but is super solid. He's asking $2500 I do think ol Goldie needs to be sittin at the house. I'll see what I can do...
