WTB/ GM Part number? Control Head vac Switch 71 W/A/C
Anyone have a part number or auto parts store Source for the Vaccuum Switch that attaches to the Heat/A/C Controls for a 71??

Is that off a 71 With A/C? Mine was gone when I bought the truck so Don't know if thats the correct one or not? thought it only had 2 lines? But not Sure?? Thanks.

They came both ways - 2 and 3 lines. Margrett, my '71 has 3 lines. My son's truck Nancy, also a '71, only has 2 lines. Both trucks have factory A/C.

Ok,,where to buy them? No one In my area can seem to find one,,the chevy dealer only goes back to 1985,,and none of the parts places can pull up a listing?

take that number from kel's switch, 7292032. call your chevy dealers parts department, have them to run that number then ask if there are any new numbers, they change them as time goes by. long shot , but, you may be suprised what they can find laying around sometime.
i've been in the parts buisiness for many years, and thats what i would do. |

Took that number with me today and no luck? found the part in a old parts book at Carquest but the guy called the supplier and it has been discontinued,, any other sources for this part?

You may have better luck searching the parts board and finding a used A/C Heater controller for parts.

Sometimes you luck out! numerous trips to the parts Houses and junkyards with no luck,,Open the removed ash tray and Viola!
