How is that one pic looking like a drawing? What filter is that? Would love to copy the idea with my truck.

It's an app for Android or iPhone called Paper Camera. You can take a live shot with it, or apply a filter to a photo you took with a different camera or at a different time. It's a pretty neat program. Here are some additional examples

Every day it rains here in Washington, I get closer to moving to Utah. Seeing pics of c10's in utah makes it that much worse! My wife and I really want to move out there. Beautiful state!

Come on down! The winters can be cold and snowy, but the summers are gorgeous. (I'm not really a cold-weather kind of guy.)

Gene Harvey Chevrolet is still around, one of the few in Utah from that era.

Boy, that brings back memories. I grew up close by, and went to High School in American Fork. We used to have my father's Camaros serviced there.

I'm glad I didn't obliterate the sticker. I think things like this are what makes this site a lot of fun.

The truck probably entered California sometime around July 2007 as witnessed by the Utah tags on it when I bought it. It ended up in an impound yard in North San Diego County and eventually was sold at a lien sale in October 2010. I bought it shortly thereafter from the guy who bought it at the lien sale.

I cleaned off a lot of "Utah red" from underneath as I worked my way thru the many problems it had.

Re: Utah show your GM Truck pride!

I grew up in Springville, I remember the Gene Harvey Chevrolet ads. My dad used to have a stable of trucks, doesn't have any left and sold the last one to a HS friend of mine when I took off to KY to go to school.

There are a lot of old C-10's in that area.

Re: Utah show your GM Truck pride!

I live in Lehi. My truck is my daily driver when I don't have it under the scalpel so you may have seen her cuising down I-15 around commute time over the years. Here are some pictures I have on my phone. I work for Layton Construction. These pictures are at the point of the mountain where I just got done building the new outlets mall next to Cabelas. I will be there a few more weeks closing things out so if you are in the area send me a PM.

This is an old post with more pictures of my truck and the story of how it came to be. The pictures are out dated but fun none the less.

Love that green one. All it needs is a Remington 870 12G pump action in the gun rack
