Who is re-popping bed supports?

My actual question is who is making them at a reasonable price? LMC has them but they seem a little pricy. I just want to replace 2 or three that are weak. And because you will never see them and because I use the truck to haul stuff, I just want to cut out the bad ones and replace with cheap new ones. Someone told me I can just use sign post......I am cheap but not that cheap. Thanks

You might try GMC Paul's website.

LMC has the measurements in their catalog, you might be able to get some metal and make them.

Re: Who is re-popping bed supports?

I have thought about cutting out the bad and just welding in new material...but it would probably be just as easy to buy the parts...I will check out Paul's ...but if anyone has a easy fix I am open ears. The two or three I need are rotted on the sides and make the bed feel soft in the middle. I am going to take the bed off for this and probably put some bags with schrader valves. I get worried as I keep putting heavier loads in the back.
