Updates will be slow from the folks in Wa.
Don't be too surprised if build updates are slow to come from the fellows in Washington State. The State Government just legalized pot smoking there this week. I assume the updates will look something like this: Hey bro......um.....I got tail lights installed ....or was it the head lights......toke....toke...oh ya it was the signal lights...ya I got them installed today........woah..they look really cool, dude. I been watching them blink all afternoon.....

I work for the Federal govt so there won't be any herbal pain killers for me any time soon. You still have to deal with the Federal govt and can only have 1oz or less and can only smoke it in a private location. No getting stoned in the park.
I hear most of the votes for it came from the Seattle area.

Re: Updates will be slow from the folks in Wa.
My updates are slow already. The department of enegry frowns on people employed in nuclear industry being stoned so ill pass the bong along.
In light our other newly passed law ( same sex marrige) ill leave you gents with a scripture " if a man lay with another man he shall be stoned" ( lev 20:13) I guess it all makes sense to me now... Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by meter swinger; 12-08-2012 at 02:00 AM. Reason: spelling. |

Re: Updates will be slow from the folks in Wa.
It should save on water in Seattle, the guys over 21 with a couple of joints won't have to flush them now when the hear a knock on the door.
The biggest change is that the state might actually save quite a bit of money by not having to deal with arresting and prosecuting the guys with small personal quantities of the stuff. The cops I know are divided on it as some are glad they don't have to deal with the guys holding under and ounce and others are upset because they will miss making an arrest. It's still illegal to have more than an ounce, buy or sell it though. The biggest winners will probably the shops selling "smoking accessories" that have been either flying under the radar for years or have just popped up in store fronts in the last couple of weeks.

I hear most of the votes for it came from the Seattle area. WA is basically 2 separate states with the west side taking all the revenue. Thats why I moved to Idaho, but over here the south takes all the money and leaves us up north with nothing.

This is true. I like the westside in the summertime, but i can do without the traffic, the rain, and the mess. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Updates will be slow from the folks in Wa.
I'd have to agree with Meter Swinger 100% we really have two states here in Washington. The area between Burlington to the north and Olympia to the south the sound on the west and the Cascades on the east along with the Vancouver area and then the rest of the state. A lot of people in the Seattle metro area still think we live in Teepees and only have dirt roads on this side of the state.
