Will do, I really appreciate that. This is the reason why I love this board. There is an awesome sense of brotherhood, even among strangers.

Re: cl find.

I would keep looking... 4k is alot, the truck has been repainted- check out the grille surround, and notice that the interior is body color now....looks like a tin patch on the lh footwell?

I wouldn't spend that kind of money without putting it on a lift, and I would have an experienced bodyman with me.

Re: cl find.

Not a knock I think the truck is in good shape for it's age. My thoughts are that the kick panels are rusted out (typical) which would lead me to believe that the floor pans also have typical rust along with rockers, cab corners, door bottoms and fender tips. I already know whats hiding under the bed mat. I'd be real careful and as suggested inspect it very closely.

Re: cl find.

They aren't making them any more. The only thing to determine the cost of anything is how bad he wants to sell it, and how bad you want to buy it. No matter what, if it's what you want, go for it. Later down the road, after you've spent a ton of money to get it the way you want it, what you paid for it won't matter.

I might be able to help with transportation I live in riverside cal but I work in pleasanton cal, I come home every other week. the only problem I have is that I would have to get a hitch for my truck, then you could rent a trailer and then I could take it to your friend in san diego. Let me know if I can help.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Really appreciate that. Im going to pass on this one. I am just not comfortable purchasing a vehicle hundreds of miles away from me without inspecting it first. Seeing as I cant get time off work to go check this out I am going to keep looking.
