01 heater cutting out on high
i have a 01 and after a bit of high heat it will cut out and if switched to a lower setting will come back on and shacking of the conections of the harness outside the box will switch it back on monentarilly , is there a consistant problem with the resisters for the heaters in this model or ? thanks for any input you may have thanks

Unplug your resistor. You probably need a new connector. Normal problem. Usually put new resistor at the same time. Check with your dealer there was a special policy on those.

When you say resistor you are refering to the contorl knob it self correct? nplug that whole control pannel?

On the passenger side under the dash there is a black panel two screws hold it up. Lower the panel. You will see the blower motor and resistor. The resistor has a relay built in. The connector im talking about is a seven or eight wire. You might not even be unplug it. Sometimes they melt fast together
