What does phone number have to do with it? I rarely put my phone number on CL ads, it's a lot easier to weed out spam emails than to have your phone ringing off the hook and illegible texts at 3am. With that said, I really don't see what screams scam, it has accurate, although not very detailed info, and it looks like a nice price, although not extremely low to make me think scam.

Your point is valid. Personally, I won't consider a CL ad without a phone number. That way I know I'm dealing with a local person rather than someone in Nigeria. I've sold tons on Ebay and CL. In both places I put my number. No problems. Then again, I turn my phone off at night.

Re: Wow!!

I dunno, could be what the owner figures is a fair price for a clean but basic no-frills truck with fresh paint. Notice no under-hood pics and none of the interior, but for the top of the seat in one pic. No telling if 80K is original or has rolled over once or twice. Appears to be a nice straight truck and well worth checking out if someone is close enough.

I can't turn my phone off at night, I get pages from the fire dept through my phone. When I receive an email that looks legit I will usually reply with my phone number. It's also usually much more convenient for me to correspond by email when answering questions about the item, as well as additional pictures, then by phone when the person actually comes to make the purchas. I have not had any trouble selling anything this way on CL. I have listed my number a few times, and usually get nothing but annoying texts.

Personally I won't consider a CL or online ad that doesn't have pictures, but phone number or not I've never had an issue with "scams from nigeria" they are usually pretty obvious to spot.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Wow!!
