Will this Air Ride kit work on a burb?

I put this same thread on the burb side of the forum but I thought I might get more info over here on this side...

Anyway, I've been looking for some bags for the front of my burb...came across this set fairly close to me. He said he we do 700. He says he paid around 1500. It was intended for a 67 swb...he says he installed the mounts but then took them off and sold the truck so the rest of the kit is brand new. He bought it several years ago and cannot find the booklet of info so he couldnt give me a lot of details...by looking at this kit can anyone say if this setup would work for a burb or not? Or could anyone give me some advice on what questions I need to have answered about it?

Reduced to $800.00, Air Ride system complete with Four Bags, Air Tank, Gauges, Compressor, Mounts, and all Lines and Hardware.

He said he would give it to me for 700

Ask what brand the bags and valves are and where he bought them.If he says airbagit.com or chassistech pass on it.

It looks like a plug and pray kit from airbagit, not the best option.

Re: Will this Air Ride kit work on a burb?

When I bagged my '69, I found a partial kit on ebay with a compressor, tank, bags, and a few valves. I bought fittings, line, more valves, pressure switch, gauges, and a switch box. It took a little while because I was on a tight budget, but I think when it was all said and done it was about $600 + the bag brackets for the front.

The only real issue I had was the tank was 7 gallons and I only had a single Thompson compressor. So I wired a hard switch to turn on the compressor and would shut it of manually before it burned up when my tank was too low and trying to fill it to 200psi.

Talk to one of the site vendors. You could go with a manual valve setup, or just put together a very basic kit you can expand on later.

We would be happy to help with an air bag kit. You can go with a manual setup which would save some money without having to sacrifice quality components. As for the suspension components, you do want to go with shock relocators, good bags & shocks. Just give me a call and can go over the details with you.... or even send me an email at travis@azproperformance.com
