How Well Do 2001 Silverado Bucket Seats Fit?

Do the new body style, late model buckets (integral seat belts) fit in our trucks?

there was someone about 3 weeks ago who had a set in their truck. They looked good, but were the cheaper seats that the middle armrest didn't fold down

I just recently bought a set of 2000 tahoe seats off this board. The seats fit and look great, but I think it depends on your size. The ones that I bought were the power seats. I am 6'4" and 300 lbs, and they put me to close to the wheel and sat up to high for me; but they did look good in there!!

There is a guy local who has a set in the paper. They are 8-way leather and he is throwing in the console and carpet and I can get these for a song! If memory serves me correctly, I believe the center console goes all the way up to the dashboard and will not be feasable for a floor-shift model. I have opted for the cloth 60/40 bench (because of the three-across seating capability) and because it is still a "family truck " as my wife continues to remind me, and I have purchased the cloth seats from another one of the super board members here (number98) but I am contemplating getting these for another project and would be interested in them if they are not too much of a PITA to install.
Thanx for the input!
