SS hood stripes

Dose any one have pictures of hood stripes on their trucks? I'm thinking of doing a set on mine and was looking for ideas. I was thinking of the 69 camaro look with a 2" hood scoop. Thanks for any Ideas. Woody

Re: SS hood stripes

I'm planning on doing Chevelle style stripes on my project with a slant nose cowl hood. The Chevelle has the truncated stripe vs. the Camaro that goes off the front edge.

Re: SS hood stripes

Thanks Guys. I have been thinking about the rally stripes for awhile. Just looking for some ideas on how to finish them on the front of the hood.

Re: SS hood stripes

Not my truck, but it has some well done stripes. FWIW, I really do think the Chevelle style stripes look much better with the hood/body lines of these trucks rather than the 'chopped' look of the Camaro stripes.

Not for me... they belong on Camaros, Chevelles, and ElCaminos.

I thought Eddie (the truck I showed) should've stopped the stripes at the crease. But,on this silver truck, with slightly narrower pattern,I think it would look good as one solid patch (not divided)

Eddie's truck has the blank tailgate. I think he should've done a black panel between the lights with a narrow border stripe around it

Re: SS hood stripes

I like the look of the stripes that stop before the crease on the hood. Anyone have a pic of the stripes without the tapper? It's alot to ask I know. thanks for the help all.

Re: SS hood stripes

Here are some I did on my old 90 that I sold recently. Just messing around one day with a can of satin white spray paint and some 1/4 inch pinstriping.

I did them like a 70-72 Chevelle.
