Re: How rare
if original - yes rare, but overal worth depends on trim level and condition combined with swb+bb status. However, any swb big block is a very desirable truck. Again, if it originally came with it. Transplants still very nice, but will not warrant the selling price (or rarity) of an original. Bottom line, original swb + big block + a/c = very desirable, and at least fairly rare. Is it a Custom 10 or CST? If you're shopping - it's worth confirming it's an original swb, i.e. Model # on the SPID (not the VIN) should be CE10734 (I'm assuming you're talking about a fleetside). CE10934 is a giveaway it's been shortened or it's a cab swap. VIN should start with CE140... Engine suffix code should be something like TBG, TBH, I believe.

Re: How rare
From the numbers I have I would guess less than 10% in 1970 had that combo ...
