Perhaps a silly question but where is the date code? I have one I pulled form my '70 and was looking for a NOS (don't care about date code), I can check it just need to know where to look.

If it is a original the regulator has 3 mounting holes by the single hole it will be stamped 12v n and under that will be a date code 9 for 1969 - - 0 for 1970 and a letter for the month. It will also have a inbossed cover delco remy made in the usa .
