22/24 centerline smoothies.

just came across a great deal on a set of 22x9 and 24x10 smoothies for my 64. anyone running this setup? I have my dropmember and tubular control arms on order just hoping my deal wasnt too good tobe true and they fit, and i can turn. any tire size input would be great also.

Let me know how you make out - have the same parts on order but have been afraid to pull the trigger on the wheels.. so you are the guinea pig - good luck bro.

Re: 22/24 centerline smoothies.

I don't know if anybody is running 22/24, I think Delmo did 22's or maybe 20/22?

That's huge.

Re: 22/24 centerline smoothies.

I have 22's and 24's on Porterbuilt chassis. 265-40-22 up front and 295-35-24 on rear. Just a rolling chassis right now. Body is a 66 short bed.

Re: 22/24 centerline smoothies.

if you have room to run a small (1/4' maybe) spacer it will fix both ends.

Put a 6 lug disc brake conversion on it. I would hate to find out how those drum brakes try to stop a 22" inch wheel.

Re: 22/24 centerline smoothies.

You can get the inside of the wheel machined where it meets the hub. I have dont that when putting escalade wheels on nissans and isuzus.
