Your TG is well packed and on it's way to Jud...and well insured, too.

Re: How to Pack/Ship a Tailgate for Littletony

Nice work! What's the cost to ship something like that across the country? ...or what does it weigh? I have a nice tailgate I'll sell someday and just wondering what the ballpark shipping costs will be.

Re: How to Pack/Ship a Tailgate for Littletony

That's the way to do it. I recall CPNE had a pristine 67/68 GMC take-off tailgate shipped from WA to NH and it arrived badly bent. Nothing worse than having that happen. It's worth the extra effort to assure no damage.

Nice work Frank! I bought a rear K5 hatch from Sharpie when he was in Wyoming and it came boxed up kind of like that. Real nice! I saved the box in case I need to ship something that big in the future!

I agree, I bough a NOS door one time and it came in the GM box only! Big dent in the door skin.Luckily (for him) he took it back since he didnt pay for insurance even though I requested he did and paid him for it!
