Is there a spray that prevents rust-not a primer
But some kinf of light oil or silicone you could spray lugnuts or exposed metal with?

I've been using this stuff... was recommended by a friend of mine. My truck is still in build stage so I don't have real world experience with it just yet, but seems like it might be what your looking for.

Boeshield T9. It was made by Boeing for use on planes. Really good stuff, lot of concours Shelby/Mustang guys using it

check out rad rides by troy..they sell a product that doesnt screw up your other projects..body shop friendly
