Uncle wants to trade bumpers?

So. My uncle has a 50th anniversary chevy I have a 72 gmc he wants to trade front bumpers cause he wants a white one his is chrome. From what I can tell they are the same is this correct??

If the bumpers on both trucks are original, then no. Your GMC bumper will have recesses below the front signal light, the Chevy bumper does not.

The recess defiantly makes sence. Thank you I think I like the white bumper anyhow. If I'm thinking right white bumpers were common but on the bottom of the ( trim level). In other words not the fancy option. Like you would find on say a Chevy Cheyenne ?
