Re: Wtb / Below eyeline mirrors
Do you know by chance if these are the same ones they would have put on a van around '79 or so? I know the small 'sport' mirrors are the same but not sure on these. If they are, I know where there's a pretty nice pair.

Re: Wtb / Below eyeline mirrors
Good luck with your search, I do believe the van mirrors may be the same. I have had a similiar search for a couple months now and have had a few leads but no mirrors as of today. My thread has a lot of detailed pictures and measurements on it.

Re: Wtb / Below eyeline mirrors
According to the parts book the van mirrors are different... Actually, they list different part #'s for 71 and 72 trucks... I am including the pics of what I am running.. I converted mine to the newer style head that has a bolt through the support and the mirror arm pivots inside the mirror. It is a better design. I will be removing these and installing the camper style mirrors, but it will be a while.
I know a fellow that had a tractor trailer truck full of mirrors that he parted out. I haven't been there in years, but I will see if he might still be alive. I didn't realize the shorty's were in such demand. I'll be in touch. Thanks, Dan |

Re: Wtb / Below eyeline mirrors
I thought it was a shot in the dark about them being the same, but I thought they looked similar. I went by there and looked at them and it appears that only the bottom part may be the same. The bracket on top is bent in another direction, the mirror arm is longer and the way it mounts to the mirror head is completely different. When you see them side by side its obvious... but before the looked the same.
