Manual Transmission ?

Is this a SM 465? My truck is a 1969 K20 4x4, 4 speed. Also what is the electric module on top side of the housing used for? I really appreciate the help.

sure looks to be a sm 465 to me, and i believe that is the back up lamp switch

One other way to tell is the 465 has the pto plates on both sides of the tranny.

Yes. The electrical switch is for back up lights.
