Lowest without notching?

How low can I drop without requiring a C-Notch?

4". 5" if you don't mind your rear end hitting the bump stops once in a while when you run over bumps in the road. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

ECE states that if you have coils you can go as low as 6".

I put 6" drop coils on the rear of my 68 C10 SWB, it works but bottoms out quite alot (all the streets are bad in my town). I think I will be notching the frame. Might try helper air bags first.

I had five inch drop and mine hasn't been bottoming out. I also put on shorter bumpstops though.

You definately can't do a seven inch drop without a notch(not that I have tried)
