mustang rack and pinion

How do I know if I have manual rack part #6461 autozone. And if its a power can it be used as a manual and how?

A power rack has external tubing and connections/fittings to connect a power steering pump.
A manual rack does not

Ive read on mustang furom u can loop the connection of the rack to the power steering pump. Or you can do a mod on the rack.
