FRECHBLUE72-thanks, sorry for taking so long to reply..i was downtown at the cruise( i got into a burnout contest with a Mustang.....you can guess who won .)thank God the cops weren't watching!
anyway, the letters on the rear window were custom made by Stickerdude in Central Point. cost me about $8.00 i think? Ive only had the truck to the track once(no posi) and my best time was 16.45 (that's with serious traction problems )i had to baby it for the first 60ft or so because of the Caddy's torque, it just wants to haze the tires.I don't know what times to expect when i get the posi in there?

thats what sucks..everybody was riding with me at the time.and the camcorder was in the glovebox. I wish i could have got a pic of the look on the guy and his girlfriends face.He tried to do a power brake and even at that he couldnt get them spinning.(we were both stopped in the middle of the street) so I stopped right next to him and without hitting the brake just pegged the throttle and hazed the tires through second gear i had to let out of it because of all the cops but suffice to say that guy in the 'Stang was pretty surprised this old black truck was that fast!
and this was right in the middle of the cruise,so there was a whole bunch of people watching, he got his a$$ kicked by an old ugly truck...

You shoulda seen this cat in traffic the other day. Driving a (non)power Ranger..a newer one. This dude tried brake torqueing his mini and it did break the tires loose, but they were spinning at about one...maybe two MPH.
I sat there and laughed histaricly at him. Then i power braked mine for just a moment, and as luck would have it, almost all the smoke went right into the cab of his truck! Funny as h*ll! |

if you're talking about the CHEVROLET across the tailgate, they're not stickers, the Previous owner had the tailgate dipped in chrome then painted around the letters.Im thinking about stripping all the paint off back down to the chrome. If they didn't screw it up trying to get the paint to stick.
