Gmc headlite adjusters
Does anyone know where to get the proper plastic healite adjusters for a 65 gmc? The ones at LMC and even on ebay are wrong. The LMC ones look like they might work but I was wondering if anyone else bought them . Gmc is different than chevy also....

Re: Gmc headlite adjusters
I just used some aluminum standoffs of the proper height. standoff is a internally threaded hex shaped coupler that comes in different lengths. Used a screw on the back side of the housing to hold the standoff in position, then bolted the bracket via the other side of the standoff. Kieth
Here is the only photo I have of these on the grill. Kieth http://kieth.smugmug.com/Trucks/66-G...6PK7&lb=1&s=X3 Last edited by kieth; 02-26-2013 at 10:22 AM. |

Got mine from an Auveco dealer for my 1966 GMC. Here's the website. The dealers typically supply body shops with body supplies and clips. http://www.auveco.com/index.htm Hope this helps. regards, Steve New Orleans |
