tilt column question
I have found a guy that's selling me a rebuild tilt column, does this one look like a factory one? I'll attach mre pics later (have to go work now )

Looks pretty decent to me for the pic you've attached....same rubber grommet where it passes under the gauges, 2 slots for the directional and tilt levers...wondering about that wiring I see there though....
I personally don't know how to identify between a truck tilt and van tilt, but more pics and some other member input should give you a solid answer. |

It looks to be a truck tilt it has the short splined shaft, the van is about 3-1/2" and the truck is about 2".

Found this column on e-bay, made me a bit leary about it since it stated to had been rebuilt with NOS components and the starting bid was only $0.01 , it's now up to $275.

Fatman, I have a tilt column that came in one of my trucks. It looks ALMOST stock, but the turn signal housing slot isn't correct & it's for an automatic, but there's no indicator on the column. $75 & I can leave it at Randy's July 1st when I'm there.....Zoomy
