My 64 copperhead
Here is my 1964 prostreet version of copperhead. 496 bbc efi. th350 narrowed 9 52" WIDE.15x 14 with 4.5 backspace. ccp mod spindles coilover rear . custom oak bed and fuel cell. gonna build a stainless tank soon.

Welcome....Great looking truck. For those of us doing big block conversions....what frame mods did you do and what headers/exhaust did you run? I see you did some firewall work also.

cut the firewall and set it back 4 inch as for the frame notched the crossmember for exhaust.headers are for a 67-72 c10 hookers jet hot coated. custom motor mounts and trans crossmember. running a Ron Davis radiator.

Firewall doesn't look easy but looking at the truck was well worth it, perfect stance with my favorite engine, a Big block. We may need more pic's though, got us hooked now.

the hood is a up22 fiberglass hood needs a lot of work. it on the wall in one of the pics.

ill run it once in awhile engine makes 750 plus hp and700ft tq. will be foot braking it. so 10.40 or so i think. bomp your truck is gonna be so cool thanks everyone for the feed back.

Why was it necessary to set the firewall back?
Was it clearance issues or were you only trying to improve balance in the truck? I have a big block mocked up on a cab and chassis and it seems to fit fine.. But it is looking a little nose heavy. Any words of advice?
