Fuel Rail Covers?

Anyone out there know of fuel rail covers that will fit the 5.3 vortec?

I'm running the stock intake on the truck, just trying to put some makeup on the pig!

I plan on painting the the stock cover on the engine and hopefully adding some fuel rail covers to paint to match the truck as well.

Hopefully somebody out there has already found a solution

Re: Fuel Rail Covers?

Escalades, Silverado SS and I think some Denalis have 3 piece engine covers that cover the intake and coils. If you get them, you will need all 3 pieces since the center one is a little different than the single intake only cover.

on the aftermarket side holly coil covers and edelbrock coil covers. I know you said fuel rail covers but these look better in my opinion. Instead of a bunch of plastic covering everything up.

Thanks for the info, I am looking to get the fuel rail covers and probably paint them to match the color of my truck. I've seen a few guys that have done that and I think it's pretty neat.

Those Holley coil covers are sweet looking. I found them about $20 dollars cheaper on other sites like Ebay. Does anybody know if they fit the truck 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 coils too? It doesn't mention them in the description.

I also found THIS on Ebay, looks pretty cool for the money. aluminum coil covers for that 'big block look' for $100 bucks.

Re: Fuel Rail Covers?

FWIW, the plastic covers come in a few styles...all are almost the same, but there are the "5300" "6000" and "Vortec Max" variations as well as the caddy emblem version. I prefer to stick with an engine cover if you run the stock truck manifold, since its ugly and most people don't tuck the harness so it looks messy without one.

You can change the ball-stud things out and just build some custom ones from sheet pretty easily, but then theres the fab work involved.
