Like new SWB one piece driveshaft

****SOLD!!****

I'm having a custom built aluminum driveshaft made to install my LS3/6L80E in my 68 SWB, so I'm listing this steel one for sale. I had this driveshaft custom built with all new parts including the yoke, u-joints and tube. It measures 54.5" from center cap to center cap and has has less than 5K miles on it. Asking $175.

Is your old sbc engine stands in the V8 position,... or the 6-cylinder position?

Re: Like new SWB one piece driveshaft

I need one, HotRod C/10 told me about this thread. I had measured mine end to end (i know not as accurate). Anyways mine was 55 1/4 end to end. I need another inch. So it would need to be 56 1/4 end to end. That looks close to what you have. How much shipped to new mexico 87506.

Ok, I see what you're saying now. The measurement in the above picture was from the center of the rear u-joint. Here's a picture with the measurement from end to end.

Re: Like new SWB one piece driveshaft

That should work for me, it will give me close to an inch more center to center of u-joint. Paypal sent. I ran my old driveshaft for a long time, just wasn't going in far enough. This caused a vibration at higher speeds, that got worse as the rear u-joint got bad.
