WTB 68 GMC Hood in DFW Area
Need a very good to perfect 68 GMC hood. This is a one year hood, so it is a little hard to find. I will consider coming to get it within 300 miles of Dallas. A perfect hood would be worth $250 to me.

Just curious what's different about the 68 GMC hood vs the 67-68 Chevy hood ? .. or 67 GMC ?

The 68 GMC has 6 holes drilled in the front of the hood to mount the GMC letters. There are also 6 larger holes on the back side to allow access for the nuts that hold the letters on. The 67 has GMC stamped in the grill and does not have letters on the hood, so no holes.

Still looking for a good hood. I am trying to make the Power Tour in June and this hood is all that is holding me back. I could go a little more money and a little farther away if this helps. Maybe even shipping one at this point. Also I need a hood with out the chrome strip along the front. Making it even harder to find.
