Some pictures I have saved over the years. I would like to have a one ton some day myself.

Re: Lets see your 1 Ton trucks
Here's my Custom/30 tow truck. I rescued it from a junkyard a few years ago and have been restoring it ever since. It just might be done this year... ???
You can see the restoration as it progresses in my build thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=448256

Re: Lets see your 1 Ton trucks
Here's my '69 C30..Originally orange, but I painted it the factory color of the C30 I bought for parts (actually, there's probably more of that truck in there then the original one )
To the OP: Are those chrome "eyebrows" (or whatever they're called) from like a VW Beetle on your C30??

Re: Lets see your 1 Ton trucks
Alright! Another C/30 picture thread. looks like we have a C/20 slipped in here...understandable mistake.
It's not a new sight around here, but here's my '71 Custom/30 tow truck I have listed in the trucks for sale board:

Re: Lets see your 1 Ton trucks
Well its not a 67-72 but I was in a new 1 ton so I figure you subtract the age of my truck with the age of this one and you get 1971.

Re: Lets see your 1 Ton trucks
Little fun fact: They don't make reproduction bowtie/30 fender emblems, so all you guys who are parting out your 1 ton trucks, keep that in mind, you can make a little money off those emblems, if you don't plan on using them, trust me they are quite hard to find if you are looking for them, I was lucky, and found a set for my '67 Chevy 1 ton.

Re: Lets see your 1 Ton trucks
MrsMothers, I work near Vicksburg at the Nuclear Power Plant during outages. A coworker knows the man that owns them. Says he sued the city because they fined him for having junk in front of his business. He got tired of it. He won the case, and now just keeps it there to piss the code people off. They've been in the same spot for as long as I can remember going there for work. I'd like the Cabover. I did see a very nice longbed being driven by an older black Gentleman in Port Ginson, We just waved at each other as we passed. 2 old truck drivers enjoying their trucks. Had white walls and a nice fancy paint job. Mine, not so fancy paint job.
