Photo of in-bed spare mount?

Does anyone have a photo of an in-bed spare mount for a fleetside?
My custom exhaust doesn't allow for spare below and thought I would mount the spare on the bed side. Was going to just make one but thought I might see what the factory option was. Thanks.

Interesting. So it didn't use any factory bolt holes? Thanks for the pic.

Re: Photo of in-bed spare mount?

the holder shown in the picture is the correct one BUT it was installed by a drunk blind man! this one is bolted on backwards. it needs to be flipped around. to install one of these holders you need to drill 3 holes. 2 on the top bed rail and one on the flange of the floor where the bedside bolts to the floor. you will find on every fleetside there is one circle hole that doesnt have a bolt in it that hole is for the spare tire holder. bolt that bolt and then drill the other three holes and then bolt it and your done. heres a pic of it installed corecctly

Re: Photo of in-bed spare mount?

I always figured it was backwards because it looks like if it was flipped some holes would line up but that's the way it was when I got it

Re: Photo of in-bed spare mount?

I've also seen them mounted in various places, was there a factory location? I'll be putting mine front left bedside. Thanks

Re: Photo of in-bed spare mount?

Were there different styles of these? The parts truck I bought a while back has one but there is no big notch for the bolt like the ones shown. Here's mine: (best pic at the moment)
