April 2013 TOTM
It is the special Truck of the Month (TOTM) contest time:
Mother Earth Hasn’t Reclaimed it Yet? Yep, you guessed it. The theme for this month will be our less than perfect specimens; our beaters, our beasts, our rust-buckets, our TRUCKS. Now here are the rules or criteria for the vehicles To be an eligible beater
+Missing panels
To Nominate: You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum (at least one full view of the vehicle) with/for the nomination as well as the owner’s board name, and the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominees will run through March 25. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up by March 26 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of April 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the afternoon of April 1. The announcement of the TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Re: April 2013 TOTM
Finally a category I qualify for! Here is one of my prized possessions 1965 but with 1964 fenders and emblems ... rusty, only one windshield wiper, duct tape on the windshield covering up holes in the glass, no rear bumper, no wood in the bed.... the list goes on and on, but she is tagged insured and drives down the road just fine

Re: April 2013 TOTM
I'll throw my hat in the ring. I have a 1950 Chevy 5 window. She sputtered back to life last summer after 30 years in a field. Its obviously multiple colors, 1 fender in primer from a repair. And the cab floor is all rust holes underneither the card board and Home Depot remanant mat flooring. Even with mismatched tires It will hit speeds in excess of 45 mph.
Gotta show the big holes One last pic but with differnt wheels and seats.

What the heck, I'll throw my hat into the ring...
My 63 GMC 1500 meets the criteria. Dents, rust holes ( for weight reduction ) and primer spots.

Re: April 2013 TOTM
Sweet a TOTM I can go for! Mine is daily driven and has AT LEAST three issues! Its registered as a 57' but actually has a 58' cab that I converted to a 57'. Fell into a fleetside bed deal a couple months ago and couldn't be happier with it.

Re: April 2013 TOTM
1977 Chevy C10, as you can tell its a work in progress but it's road worthy. Has bent fender, dent in door, and rusty tail gate, and bent hood.
Bent part of fender
