Re: Wtb high hump cover bolts

Rich, I'm sure I have some out there, I'm just not sure when I will be able to get out there and look. I've been working on my shop every night. I will try to look tomorrow night if it snows tomorrow

Hey guys, what type of "nut" do these bolts thread into? I will be needing some hardware also in the future.

Thanks,
Mark

I'll post a picture of the high hump floor surround I have cut out tomorrow AM. Then I can measure it's size and get a bolt dimension then too.

Re: Wtb high hump cover bolts

70STOVEBOLT,

FYI, here is a picture of an original floor from underneath. The nuts are square and they are welded to reenforcement strips which are welded to the floor.

The thread size is 5/16-18.

Jim

Re: Wtb high hump cover bolts

Not to thread hijack, but I'm parting a big block truck and have the reinforcement plate I could cut out if anyone is interested.

Re: Wtb high hump cover bolts

Rob, you mean the plate with the nuts welded to it? My 72 high hump cab does not have anything welded to the bottom of it. If you have the plate with the nuts I am interested. Also the bolts. I already have a hump. For my cab...

Thanks,
Mark

Re: Wtb high hump cover bolts

Just got in from setting to mask and cut out low hump and exploring how we will bolt high hump in. Hartrob, I would be interested in reinforcing strip(s) and nuts if it comes to me.

Days getting longer and slowly back to my sons project again.
