Wiring issue

Redoing a 72 and re wired most of it myself. Now,it starts and runs and all the lights work.....problem is there is a huge drain on the battery. When i diconnect the neg cable and put a meter between it and the batt I get 12.5.I have removed each fuse, unpluged each harness ,alt, everything one at a time and it's still there ??I haven't pulled the starter yet and just ordered new ground straps.Anybody ???
