Gas tank help
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and just picked up a 1972 blazer that used to be 4x4 and is now 2WD. The gas tank seems to hang low. I would like to go lower in the rear, however I'm concerned about how low the tank hangs down. It looks to be a polyurethane tank. How low did the factory tank sit? Is there a company that makes tanks that sit up higher and still hold the right amount of fuel?
Thanks for any input. I will get pictures posted once I learn how. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Gas tank help
This is the 31 gallon tank. I think there is a smaller one, I'd assume that it wouldn't be as deep but have never seen it in person to confirm.
Is your's like this? ![]() |

Re: Gas tank help
Wish I had a 31! Mine is only 21. Only getting 80 miles to a tank sucks!

Re: Gas tank help
I take that back.... that is a 21 gallon tank. I do get about 200 miles per tank though. You really get 4mpg?
