Edelbrock 1407
Is my edelbrock 1406 (750 cfm) too large forum 71 402? It's got an edelbrock intake and an hei. Just thinking it may be too large and maybe I should try a 600 a 650?

Unless you're just wanting to put a different carb on there for some reason. Not happy with the Edelbrock? Have Holley envy? Gary

it should work fine a 650 would be a better size and would give you a little more power down low but the 750 shouldnt be a problem, ive run them on 402s and 396s before but liked the 650 dp i had the best

If you got a 1406 you already have a 600 and not a 750.
Which is it. A 1407 or a 1406. Either is good. |

yes the 1406 is a 600 cfm with electric choke.
1407 is a 750 manual choke 1411 is 750 with electric choke.
