Well, i was nervous but i bit the bullet at tried it! im happy with the results! the rust and grime just wipes right off. I will get some good pics soon of the whole truck, it's coming flood don't want to move back to shop right now

Hmm... my '72 is the same color as yours. Not as rusty... but does have some surface rust in spots.

Mix CLR with 3parts CLR and 1 part water and green scotchbrite pad and scrubb

They are wheel vintiques 52-54 chevy caps.. No clips just the nubs on the wheel

Looks nice, I heard if you apply wax it should prolong the rust from coming back not sure though maybe someone else can help on that subject

That's a very cool truck! Do you have the front chrome? I would put a quick clear coat on that sucker and be done!

clr is great. have seen several old cars use it and it really makes a difference. can easily persuade someone from a full-on repaint if they are already on the fence. your truck was the perfect candidate, probably the best night and day shots i've ever seen of clr use.

Thanks! The shine is mostly the truck being wet. My two front fenders still have a lot of shine!
