Re: highest priced c10?
That's a lot of $$$. I don't think it'll ever sell for that...Of course I've been wrong before.

Re: highest priced c10?
HOLY CRAP!!!! I need to throw on a cheesy hood scoop, and fab up a front and rear roll pan/ valance, and sell mine for that...lol. Sad thing is if he shows 3000 man hours building it at $100/hr...is $30k. Thats not including parts and starter truck.
I have seen way nicer trucks for way less than half that. I just sent all my papers and photos to Haggerty and the official Appraisal was hit right at $32k on mine. |

Re: highest priced c10?
Probably is the highest priced longbed I've seen. You can put all the money in the world into a vehicle, but that has nothing to do with what it will sell for. One thing for sure,if you build your own concept, you build it for yourself. It's either a big hit or a fail for anyone else...generally the latter.
About the hood scoop. Is that a one-off fabrication or a JC Whitney that was welded on? I've never taken notice of ones I've seen offered, but assumed they were fiber glass. That's a piece of work if they built it.

Re: highest priced c10?
That's what I would ask if my wife wanted me to sell mine too
I don't know honey... I just can't get it sold... I know a member here that has a beautiful short bed, worth every penny of what he's asking, somewhere around 15K, and I think it's been for sale for a year or two now. I don't watch BJ so I'm not entirely sure, but Copperhead is the highest I've seen one go for, was something like 65K?

Re: highest priced c10?
Well, it is true that you can put a ton of money into any resto project--But, when you do, it has to be a labor of love, you cant ever expect to even break even. $79K to $90 K---?? (Opportunities(!) are born every day!)
Im going to have over 500 hours in mine --its going to be somewhat show quality although it will be driven on the street--Im keeping it sort of neutral in the mods Im doing so it will appeal to more people and Im over budget, past my original schedule, but I have no illusion of even breaking even. Its just a labor of love that I will eventually give to my grandson. Id hate to think how much Id loose if I sold it!! Resto isnt for everyone---most times you can buy someone elses project way cheaper than you can build one.

Re: highest priced c10?
Someone is really proud of their truck! Perhaps a little too proud... And definitely misinformed on their value.
It's gonna take a REAL sucker to buy either one of those trucks. |

If your into high dollar C10's you can buy the Fesler Built truck for $125,000...thats 100K less than the original asking price.

Re: highest priced c10?
Even with the 427, that amount is rediculous. Longbed, doesn't appear to have bags...it's hard to make longbeds look are unique and get that perfect stance already.
