Here's mine sorry I don't have a profile pic, I'd take a better one but my digital cameras currently broken. Its really a fairly straight forward project recessing the taillight housing into the Suburban & Panel bodies you just need to cut a oval opening behind the lens housing so that the housing then recesses into the body, slap some Fleetside lenses on and you now have flush taillights. I did ours about 8-10 years ago and its very sharp looking in person and I've only received compliments from everyone on the look.

If you just put Fleetside taillight lenses on the taillight housing without recessing the housing you will see the top & sides of housing and rain and snow will leak inside the rear quarters and in my opinion its EXTREMELY UGLY without being recessed.

yup yup thats me...i shaved the backside of the lenses so they sit more flush inside the housings...hated them sticking out....annnd we put the truck tailgate letters in too...i just need them straightened out kinda wavy...i love how they came out...a custom touch MOST don't even reconize...

Well,I prefer country tails but thanks anyway. Hey 1sik7t2,that's one sick '72. Love the letters,a mild "true custom" touch. I've had an idea like that,but different,for my '67 GMC p/u but I'm not gonna tell
