Exclamation I need pics of black and red houndstooth seats!!

Hey guys, hoping you can help a fellow trucker out. I'm getting a frame off on my 70 C10 and even though houndstooth isn't correct for the year I want to know if anyone has red and black houndstooth seats in their trucks? If so can you post them so I can get an idea of what my seat is going to look like before i tell the upholstery guy to go with it? The truck is going to be black on the exterior but as far as interior I don't know what to paint it. Red or black. Thanks for the help in advance guys!

Thanks, now I'm just going to have to picture that with my black interior. I must be crazy. This non-ac truck is going to be Hot!!! Wooo! I've always wanted a black 70 C10 but fell in love with those houndstooth seats in the 71 and 72 trucks. I'm trying to keep everything as factory looking as possible, even though not numbers matching, I want a sleek factory look. I've already dropped the 454 in it. As I get pictures developed I'll post them on here for you guys. Now if I could only figure out how to post pictures.............

That is the truck that ECE built. I have all the magazines that the rebuild was done in. Its what got me into these trucks in the first place. Sorry I don't have any pics for you.

next time you come out to look at your truck, stop in. I'll show you what to do to post pictures.

So are those pics of the interior here accurate to the size of the original houndstooth stitching? My upholstery guy and I are trying to locate the original fabric but we're having a hard time. It's going to be a completely hand stitched bench seat. I'd prefer not to buy a seat cover from LMC because I can't justify spending $300 for a seat cover when my upholstery guy can stitch and cover my seat for $325. Does anyone have any links or telephone numbers to places around the US who has quality houndstooth red/black fabric that we can order out? I can't imagine it's cheap but we only need a yard or two. And BTW great work on this site!
