Factory original tow hooks!

This is the real deal. They are for 67/68 Chevy trucks. They are also factory correct backwards for 1960+ trucks

Includes the right and left hooks, and original mounting hardware. One of the nuts is a little rounded off, but it still works, and you can get a standard 15/16 at the hardware store if you want to.

I accept Paypal. Asking $149 (price newly lowered!) plus $9 for shipping to lower 48

First to pay gets them

Re: Factory original tow hooks!

You should add that they do not fit the 69-72 trucks without modification...

Someone else had indicated otherwise, but I went ahead and edited my post by removing 69-72

Thanks

Re: Factory original tow hooks!

I put these on eBay now, with a starting bid higher than I'm asking here from members. If one of you wants them, I'll remove it from eBay

I'm guessing the mounting holes are different, but let me check and get back to you for sure.

Ok. I found the answer. Basically, if you already have mounting holes, then you would need to change the location of the mounting holes to mount these hooks. But, if you don't have any mounting holes at all on your frame, then you just mark, drill holes, and mount them up

In order to mount these on a 69 to 72 you will also have to cut a large notch out of your bumper for each hook, or mount them with the open end of hook facing out.

Re: Factory original tow hooks!

69-72 K-model front spring mounts are different from 68-earlier. They are located differently which is why the hooks changed at the same time,to accommodate this difference. So,you need to do what BLAZERMAN mentioned to mount the early hooks on the later trucks. In your WIW thread I indicated these fit 60-68.
