Steering Column help

Im trying to reinstall my non-tilt steering column in my 72 K20. I cant figure out how to reinstall my shift linkage so that it works properly and reinstall my supports in the cab. I have a couple pictures and any help would be great. Thanks

Re: Steering Column help

You need to buy a factory assembly manual. When you get in these spots it will bail you out (ask me how I know).

For 1 thing, the lug(upper left pic)on the shaft with rod bushing should be fitted inside the slot on the shorter shaft directly above it on the column.

Re: Steering Column help

You are missing hardware on the end of the column that holds the bearing housing and shift tube support in place. Here is the only picture that I have of a column and it is missing the bearing and shaft.

I can send you a pdf schematic of the column if you like. It is too big to post and if I resize it the details go away. Send a PM with your e-mail address to me if you want the schematic.
