Edelbrock Finned Aluminum Valve Covers

Hey Guys,

A while back, I picked up a pair of Edelbrock finned aluminum valve covers at a swap meet because the price was right. I'm not sure how they came from Edelbrock, but both covers have both holes knocked out in them. The pics I've seen look like they come with one hole in each. My plan is to put a breather/oil fill cap in one cover, plug the smaller hole, and put a PCV valve (with an oil baffle grommet) in the small hole on the opposite side.

My question is this: can I put another breather cap on the same side as the PCV to fill the hole, or should it be plugged tight, so the PCV is actually drawing through the crankcase, and not just sucking air through the valve cover from the breather cap on that side?

Where do you fill the oil?

Re: Edelbrock Finned Aluminum Valve Covers

You simply pop out the breather and put the oil in. I have the same valve covers on mine.
