question about 67-68s
did 67 and 68 chevy trucks have the side marker lights in the front fenders like 69s up did ????

ok thanks i got confussed there cause im restoring a 67 chevy truck and im redoing my fenders and i just got my drivers side done and i noticed it had no light and i just took my passengers side fender off and it has a light in it i was like what the .... then i was like ok just a little changing around someone did probolly put a fender off a 69-70 or etc on that side

A few 67's made it out of the factory with side marker lights, one of them being mine. Not common but it did occur.

Someone put a 68 passenger fender on your truck... Happens alot with 67's the originals get hit or crunched and then they can't find a real 67 replacement so they get a 68 fender.

yeah i believe that too i just whent down to the garage and took that light out and its a reflector so i guess that means its a 68 fender . i guess now for it to match the drivers side ill have to cut that section out and mig in a flat peice sheet metal and light glaze it over to make it a 67 fender .

Yep,sounds like a good plan. The 69-72 fenders wouldn't have worked on your truck,only a '68.if you did want the marker. Grilles and hoods changed in '69 so the fenders also had to.
