flywheel and starter quistion
have you guys ever had a problem with a tooth on your flywheel cathcing and eventually ruining the gear on the starter keeping the truck frome starting, i had a gentleman at work tell me that he used to have that problem on a 70 chevy that he used to have and that he had to replace the flywheel, if what he said is true than i am up a creek without a paddle, give me some input guys.

I am not understanding your question, but I know the gear on your starter can be replaced (just get a new Bendix for it).
