Steering shaft
Is the steering shaft in a 60 stick sift interchangeable with a 3 on the tree shaft from a 65? Just in case I am using the wrong term I mean the rod inside the steering column.

Re: Steering shaft
Forestb I am not sure but I thought they were the same. I had steering shaft issues (loose in the column) I got a column from a 68 which is totally different. Not in yet but I am told I will have to change the mounting some. Have you tried the swap yet. I am curious too.

Re: Steering shaft
One of the differences I know of is the '60-62 column have a different type turn signal switch than the '63-66. From what I have seen with the 4 columns I have here, externally and mounting hole locations look the same.
