Fan shroud for big block?
Another thing i thought about before doing the big block swap, do i need to get a different fan shroud for a big block? right now its just a small block with a flex fan. i looked in lmc, and the only listings they have is for a small block. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Fan shroud for big block?
I should have asked this differently. What are all the other big block swaps using for cooling fans?

Re: Fan shroud for big block?
I used factory big block shrouds on the two I converted. And a fan clutch and fan.

Re: Fan shroud for big block?
ive got a big block shroud from the truck shop and an 18" 7 blade fan off a chevelle, ive used small block shrouds but had to shorten them some and i always use the same fan, i look for the fans at swap meets and get every decent priced one i can,

Re: Fan shroud for big block?
Yes, go with the BB shroud. I think I have a couple around here, let me know if you don't find one locally. Also , get RID of that flex fan and get a good GM heavy duty clutch fan!
